Bought a car from here that was under 3 years old and had very low mileage. Mechanic recently troubleshooted and found an alternator had been badly fitted - welded in! Shouldn't need a new alternator replacement so can only guess why this would have been done (not positive). Costing me close to 1k to replace along with the battery that suffered as a consequence. AVOID - How funny I only just saw your response. Pathetically childish much as you were when I dealt with you. I was actually being quite diplomatic, the very qualified mechanic at Peugeot Gatwick actually said what was done subsequently and was done so dishonestly. Feel free to take up with them you sad little man. Edit 30/04/22 - Not exactly disproving me calling you a sad little man by messaging me on Facebook and stalking me on LinkedIn. If you don't like the Gatwick Peugeot mechanics assessment by all means take it up with them. That said, keep the insults coming it's actually quite entertaining and I'm sure is working wonders for you and your business profile. BTW I didn't attend a public school, but don't let that get in the way of insults!

In 60 years of buying cars , from a Morris 1000 to a Porsche , this has to be the most pleasurable, the car was better than described communication even better. A well deserved 5 STARS thank you.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST DEALERSHIP, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! My wife and I are from Australia. We have always dreamt of buying a car and driving around the UK and Europe. In May 2020 we excitedly arrived in England and bought a car off Richard at Shelsey Cars. Four months into our dream trip, we received word that our Son had been put into a coma and so we frantically booked the next available flight back to Australia. We had the problem of what were we going to do with our car! We handed our car to Richard and asked if he would sell it for us on a commission. Our agreement was totally verbal and if ever anyone was in a vulnerable position to be taken advantage of, it was us! WE CAN VOUCH AS AN ABSOLUTE FACT, THAT RICHARD HAS TOTAL INTEGRITY. He sold our car for what he said he would sell it for and he proved that his word is as binding as a signature on a contract. Thank you very much Richard! We are in total gratitude to you.
