Farleigh Further Education College - Frome

Further Update: Aug 22 My girl settled well here, but due to circumstances beyond our control and a decision to close residential services, a return in September is not an option. I can say that in the 8weeks that she was at Farleigh, there was progression, and she came away with another academic certificate under her belt. Such an achievement in such short a time. It was a welcome and unexpected bonus. Well done Farleigh FE Posted May 22 Its early days for my (not so little) girls placement here, but so far I cannot find fault with this college, the management team, the tutors, the support staff or the standard of educational courses available. Personally, I was enormously impressed with the Deputy Heads implementing a new specialist teaching strategy and she alone sold Farleigh FE to me. The most recent OFSTED report was not pleasant reading, however, the college were totally open and candid in sharing the report with ALL stakeholders, and this open and honest approach should be highly commended. I have complete faith that this specialist educational establishment will go on to shine following this recent setback, and my daughter will benefit fully from the planned further improvements.

Former student staff member jo rico constantly belittled and spoke to us like we were less than human even to this day im still getting death threats from students because she is feeding them lies about a situation that was delt with that didnt invole her

Great place, giving me heart pains from day-to-day stress due to consistent issues at the college

I started the admissions process for my daughter but ended up with drawing the application due to poor communication and unprofessional attitude of the new head mistress.
