I've been a customer of Kims since the late 70's un beknown to him. I hadn't been in for years but I went in today for strings and a tuner battery, it was like a time travel experience he was as helpful and charming as ever. Brilliant Terry Snook.

Barely open, and when they are, I've found them pushy and constantly trying to upsell.

I was extremely disappointed and angry with my experience of buying my squier electric guitar from Kim at Sounds of Frome. When I asked about the guitar he said I could only buy the display model - I have since found out that I am within my rights to ask for a brand new one, or be offered a discount for a display model. The guitar Wasnt even cleaned and had filthy finger prints all over it. When I cleaned it at home i found they were hiding a massive scratch on the bottom The guitar I was sold cannot be purchased on its own, it comes in a pack with a cable, stand, case etc, Kim was constantly distracted by other customers and the phone instead of properly helping me, and when he did focus on me he was trying to sell me everything in the shop, without first actually asking me what I wanted. Not a great experience from a novice guitar buyer who now feels ripped off

Thank you kim for the helpful and friendly advice today 6-01-2022. I bought a lovely second hand stagg bass today and i love it so much. I cant wait to be able to afford an amp. I highly recommend this shop for everything music related and kim is a lovely guy. I will definitely be back for all musical needs. Thanks again. Stu
