Gave John the mechanic a truck from 1950s which is something mechanics dont see regularly. Asked him to change auto transmission oil and clean trans filter to solve a gear change issue. John, in no time at all found a different issue (vacuum pipe torn) and sorted it in minutes to solve a possible major problem and saved me a ton of money in the process. Linwood staff are friendly, efficient and professional. They never do any unnecessary work or fit new parts that are not ready to be changed. Any work they see needs doing more than you were expecting, they ring to let you know and check with you first. We feel in really safe hands, (especially after our previous experiences with two other places fairly locally). We were recommended Linwoods by a friend and have never looked back. Today was MoT and full service plus a couple of electrical things that needed checking but as usual they went above and beyond without ramping up the price. They are rightly proud of their work. Very pleased with the comprehensive service this garage provides; a major car service and genuine feed back & advice from the owner & the mechanic. Enables me to have confidence to use this garage again.
