Having carried out a total refurbishment of our home we had the pleasure of using Ian to carry out all electrical work! Over the course of the project Ian worked with the PM in installing new circuit boards, re-earthing the house, installing circa 90 sockets, new light fittings throughout and garden lighting! He has since returned to help with lighting and sockets in our garage which includes motion sensor units! Hes highly qualified, punctual and fair with his pricing and really pleasant to be around! If I could give Ian 0 stars I would have. Initial communication seemed good, quote came in expensive, however the work needed doing asap and he managed to squeeze us in! I now know why he had this spare time! Because he is a cowboy! He knowingly fitted a lesser grade board with no communication of this and then still had the audacity to invoice for his initial quote. What was supposed to be a 1.5-2day job, was 3 hours at a push for Ian and an apprentice (they also popped out to get materials in this time) he didnt like being challenged and made it seem like if he came back to do the job he quoted for in the first place he would be out of pocket! The cheek of it. Then with a lot of hassle and chasing we finally received the testing certificates for the new panel after months of requesting and as a last resort reporting him to NICEIC. I have just one thing to say. If youre looking for an electrician I would say keep looking, you havent found a good one here! Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading
