        Not happy with the lack of contact with staff. Told by a very pleasant lady that counter service was not in operation now. All the shutters were down and only one person serving on the opposite side but dealing with a lengthy enquiry so there was a queue. A sophisticated ATM machine was in use (with another queue) and the lady helped me pay in a cheque. What should have taken five minutes was regretfully at least twenty. I am disappointed because personal service would not be available in future and I think elderly people might struggle with this.

        Called in this morning to get some change. All shutters down but plenty of staff present. Met by staff member informing me that they offered 'limited services' on a Saturday and didn't have access to change, none of which was apparent when I checked online that they were open. Thank goodness for a very willing and helpful Post Office.
