        For all the supposed affluence of North London, the offering in many of its wine shops can be disappointingly down-market. So I was pleased to discover a Jeroboams in Hampstead. Decent selection of Burgundy here considering it's a relatively small shop. Found some Vosne Romane which is something of a rarity in a regular wine shop (I usually have to go to specialist Burgundy merchants online), plus there's a few Burgundy Grand Crus on offer, as well as a bunch of other village level offerings (Gevrey Chambertin and chums) which looked ok. Interestingly not much in the middle there (1er crus), but that might have just reflected the stock on one particular day.
