Welby 57

We were supposed to stay at number 20 for 2 nights but they told us we were staying at 57 instead which was 10 mins walk away! In the halways we immediately spotted mouse poison traps and droppings on every floor. The carpet was badly stained and ripped and chewed in places and was dangerous on the stairs. Our room was right by a very creaky floorboard in the hallway. The bed base was ripped and frayed badly and dipped in the middle and the mattress had lots of springs sticking out. There was no ironing board despite being told there would be one in the room when i phoned them. The window wouldnt stay open and we had to use a plank of wood provided to hold it open. The oven temperature was irratic and burnt or undercooked our food. There were no plugs in any of the sinks and the kitchen sink was blocked. Only 4 coat hangers were in the wardrobe. The tv signal was terrible and couldn't get a clear channel. Only one set of towels was left for a 2 night stay. No door on the little freezer box in the fridge so all food in the fridge got frozen. Most of the floorboards creaked. The room had a musty smell. The only toiletries provided was a bar of soap and the shower was caked in limescale and trickled instead of sprayed and scalded my girlfriend.
