(Translated by Google) Not a luxury hotel, but really good. Nice people, great room, great value for money (especially for London) and very easy to access thanks to the tube station around the corner.

Where do I begin, unfriendly staff, dirty room, flies circling the lights, filthy shower, peeling paintwork, stained carpet, lumpy bed. I complained about the state of the room but no alternative offered. It was June 2019 and I was going to a concert in Wembley stadium.I didn't dare have a shower or try breakfast. This place really, really should be closed down on health and safety grounds.DO NOT STAY HERE, if you value your health. I am just so sorry that others have continued to have experiences similar to mine.

Summary: Showed up to the hotel in the evening for our reservation and the hotel was CLOSED, they never informed me of the closure and left me nowhere to stay in the middle of London. We have booked this hotel months ago, a few days before my stay, an email arrived to say that the Langorf Hotel would like to cancel but nothing further should be done if we wanted to keep our reservation. We did nothing as per the email because it was only days away from my stay, so I did not cancel, and it would be costly to find something else last minute. Come to the evening of my arrival, I arrive and only to realise the hotel is closed and no one is answering the phones. So of course panic ensues because they have left me with nowhere to stay. I sent them a message and their reply somehow blamed me for this situation - "we tried request you to cancel and you ignored it" and they informed me that the hotel had been closed for months. Which is probably the worst non-apologetic fake apology i have ever received. Why was this hotel bookable if it had been closed for months? Why did they "request to cancel" if they knew the hotel was closed instead of just cancelling? Why did they not just simply send me a message to tell me the hotel is not open - they have had months to contact me? One can only presume it was because they wanted to avoid any fees that would had incurred through the booking platform for such a last minute cancellation. Therefore, I find this situation outrageous and their custom service, or lack thereof, utterly ridiculous.

(Translated by Google) The way to the hotel is uphill, which can be exhausting with luggage. Easy to get to from the subway station. The hotel does not belong to any chain, so it has retained its typical charm. The "boys" at reception are friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was relatively small, but still okay. The windows were only there to let in the light. But they weren't tight. The bed was fine. Even though we only had one blanket, that was enough. All in all, as I said, a room with British flair. The breakfast was manageable: toast, croissants (reminiscent of rolls), two types of sausage, one type of cheese, jams, etc. So more like a continental breakfast. We enjoyed the four nights and would love to come back. Also eher kontinentales Frhstck.
