Tried to make an appointment last week Frizington Fell View. Telephoned & waited in the usual call system. However, after 45mins wait telephone just rang continuously!!! Eventually rang off. Contacted Boots pharmacist who was happy to look at the area of concern. Following Pharmacist advise tried to call surgery still no answer. Called 111. Although another waiting call system eventually discussed symptoms with a charming young man. Following a set of questions to ascertain the nature of the medical concern, was advised a GP would contact today. GP contacted within an hour & following discussions an appointment was agreed necessary the same afternoon at Beech House surgery. Excellent appointment with GP pain relief prescribed. Bloods taken the next day. Was told results of blood test Monday. Text received Monday requesting to call Frizington Fell View surgery. Back to waiting in a queue. 45mins to reach position 1. Telephone just rang continuously no answer. Telephoned the surgery (Beech House) where my previous appointment had taken place. Telephone answered immediately. Receptionist at Beech House agreed to attempt to contact FellView. Lovely helpful lady. Eventually a call received from Fell View advising another GP appointment necessary next Friday!!!!!! Hopefully we can transfer to Beech House!!

Very slick procedure for over 65's flu jab today. Appointment confirmed with reminder text messages. One way system in the surgery and no wait.
