        Visited here on a sunny April day. The gardens are stunning, tulips were blooming. The house itself is interesting and recommend the tour of south cottage. You have to book this when you get there and spaces are limited. I'd like to go back and visit in other seasons. The parkland around the house is open for walks so you can easily make a day of it and bring a picnic. The volunteers who are located at veruous places in the house and garden are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions as well as having some interesting stories to tell. Dog-friendliness: You can walk dogs in the parkland but obviously can't take them into house and grounds.
