My favourite garden, formal layout but relaxed planting, plenty of variety and always lots to see.

Had a fantastic day out at Sissinghurst Castle Garden and highly recommend it - particularly for keen gardeners. It's a beautiful and varied place, with a rich history. Great views from the top of the tower and its lovely to wonder around the gardens (there's some good longer routes if you want more of a walk). The staff are really friendly, welcoming and very informative. Nice little cafe on site with indoor and outdoor seating.
