        The bright sea air licks at your face every morning as you take in the full beauty of an unendingly gorgeous stretch of English countryside. You nod quietly to yourself, this was a tremendously good decision. Your hosts are affable and accommodating. Your rooms spacious and bursting with rustic charm. Your days are filled with exploration and relaxation. Its a beautiful and special place, and so are you when youre here. Enjoy it.

        I stayed at this wonderful cottage for a week. It is located on several major walking paths and has amazing views of the Friston Forest and the White Horse. The furnishings are high-end and very comfortable, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. It's a perfect rural retreat but on the busy Jevington Road which means it's very easy to reach by car and by bus. Walk to The Tiger in East Dean and, if you're feeling fit, to Birling Gap.
