This is a project which focuses on people's mental health. It is a working farm but there's lots more going on here including a garden to help with, and a man she'd where men can go along, make things and chill out. A truly great project that is much needed in communities now.

Visited the Askefield Project as part of a catch up with friends from Skegness. After travelling just over and hour and a half, We attended on a cold and wet December Saturday, however the Spirits of all who attended didn't match the weather. During our visit, we undertook several activities as a family, including clay making, biscuit decorating and colouring in - plenty to do for the children. We also completed the WhatThreeWords trail around the grounds giving us a great opportunity to see the good work undertaken here and visit the animals on site. The highlight of the day had to be the visit to Santa - obviously this was the real deal as his charisma and mannerisms all had the kids hooked on every word (someone give him a mince pie for his dedication) Above all we wouldn't hesitate to visit again, however maybe during a slightly warmer time of the year.
