A lovely little site out in the countryside with almost no road noise at all, just the sound of some sheep a couple of fields away. A long well maintained gravel farm road leads to the triangular site. Note, Google maps satellite view does not show the site, which is at 52.7963367, -0.9036989 as the satellite image is quite old. Facilities are basic, as reflected by the modest pitch fee, just a well laid out and presented grass site, gently sloping and well drained with a fresh water tap, waste water and toilet emptying point and a recycling and general waste bin. Hedges shelter two sides with some nice views out to the west. No toilet or showers, so your own portable loo is advised. Nearest public loos are at Melton country park (LE13 1HP) and are open 9 till 5, as is the adjoining cafe.
