Although a church has existed on the site since Saxon times, the present church of St Michael and All Angels dates from the early 12th century. The south door dates from this period, as do the northern arches of the nave.

Got married here my children were baptized here and now I have family and friends buried here I love visiting their graves and reminiscing just such a shame about the amount of dog mess it's so disrespectful I have seen people letting their dogs off the lead when coming through the gate unfortunately I trod in some the other day I just wish they would ban dogs from the grounds.
