        Good food and beer. Service very pleasant but not that fast

        I really do love the Brewery, been many many times. However it seems that post Covid things have changed somewhat. Obviously I know the brewery has changed hands and is now owned by Yattendon Estate, but switching everything to table service is fine as long as the staffing levels can accommodate it. I was there last night it was really painful to get a drink and get someones attention and when we did order a drink it took an age to get it to us. It also seems that sitting or drinking at the bar has been prohibited so it feels like Im not even allowed to approach the bar to order a drink. Great venue guys but always feels under staffed now and lacking some dynamics.

        Worth while journey to get here. Beers are excelkent especialy Good Old Boy and Mr Chub. Staff always friendly and helpful. Also do good food.

        I drank the detour pale ale at Newbury Racecourse.. Bloody lovely. And a big shout out for the two girls and young lad. Really good service
