Excellent Meerkat experience. My 9 year old daughter and I (41) loved it.

That Guy You Aren't
Lovely little spot well worth half a day out. Great selection of various birds, including an absolutely gorgeous African Fish Eagle, which is a type of bird I've never seen before. Stunning Storks, owls and falcons too! Staff all very friendly and helpful. I LOVED the wallaby walkabout, where you can walk a little circuit amongst free roaming wallabies. They are absolutely lovely, adorable creatures. Interaction with the marmosets was fun too. Without a doubt the highlight was the meerkat experience, where you get a good half hour or more to sit with, feed and pet the meerkats. The meerkats weren't shy either! They are perfectly happy to jump up on your lap, and even use your shoulder as a perch if you tempt them up there with a well placed mealworm! You're allowed to stroke them, but not pick them up or hold them, which isn't an issue as you obviously don't want to distress the animals and the experience is still great!
