        Had to stop here to report a dangerous fault, you have to use a contact post the same as on railway stations only problem is no one answers we were told that this would not be a problem when the bridge keeper was removed

        Scenic location along the canal with lovely walks along the towpath in either direction. Adjacent to the automated swing bridge is the Stables Cafe, car parking (pay & display), canal visitor centre and heritage information display boards. Saul Junction is just a couple of minutes walk further along, the sights and sounds of canal activity always a pleasure to observe here.
