Fressingfield General Stores

A very good small shop, with a huge amount of stock and I've been coming here since 1996. There are often bargains to be had. They deliver to the vulnerable twice a week. Polite and friendly staff. I usually request an itemised bill as I do everywhere where it's relevant and they are more than happy to supply one if asked. Reccomended.

Some good reduced fresh food items in here, and local meat from butchers but I couldn't believe when I totalled up my shopping that for 6 bananas it was 3 something, beware of what they are charging for fresh produce they have to weigh as they are certainly making a mark up! Also I did not like the fact that they did not give me an itemized bill when I paid by card as the shop prefers you to do, just gave me the top receipt, so they could charge you whatever price they wanted for goods and you have no idea if they have overcharged you - so be cautious what you buy from this shop!

Wonderful for a village shop, especially in these times , lovely staff too and very helpful re the community , cannot fault :)

What a little gem of a village shop, I love it , has everything you need, we buy what we need rather than over consuming, they have so much choice and alot of lovely local produce which is super for the environment, the owner and all staff are so helpful and friendly we would certainly be very lost without this fantastic shop thankyou
