Nearby activities: Dog friendly pub serving great food and good selection of beers right outside the main gates. Walkability: Nice circular walk up to the Tennyson monument then down to the Needles. Takes a couple of hours. Restrooms: Fantastic facilities, look brand new but are three years old. Lots of loos, showers, sinks etc. Washer and dryer available on the purchase of tokens. Not allowed outdoor footwear in the main area to assist in cleanliness. Dog-friendliness: Fully contained dog field for our four legged friends to run around in.

We camped at Stoats the last week in September. On arrival received a warm and friendly welcome from Louise. A nice, flat pitch at the top of the hill with pretty views over gentle rolling countryside. We largely had the field to ourselves for the week - lovely. There's a useful on site shop, but the facilities block is the star of the show. Wow! Very new, very well laid out and kept immaculate. Impressive. The area around Stoats is great for walking and we visited nearby Farringford, once home to Alfred Lord Tennyson. Well worth a visit. So overall big thumbs up for Stoats. We'll be back.

AWFUL! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! This was my first time camping and the least I could say it was a bad experience. Staff - Extremely rude, fake and completely uncivilised. Came across as if they were under the influence of drugs. Site - Trees and bushes infested with wasp nests. Positives - the facilities were kept very tidy and clean therefore I give it one star.
