Fabulously welcoming; great sea views; sea walks; best place for doggies who are made very welcome. Lovely gardens; plenty of parking; great food. Comfy home from home. Will stay again. Nearby activities: Totland pier- scenic coastline, near The Hut; Colwell Bay; Needles ; great dog walks.

What an amazing find. We looked for a while for a dog friendly hotel and certainly found it in the Sentry Mead. Such a lovely place to stay, beautiful room, welcoming and attentive staff, fabulous breakfast and loved the idea of an honest bar. Gayle and Mark have certainly ticked all the box's in contributing to making our mini break one to remember. Thank you

Had the worst experience with Mark previous year. Had a delayed flight, which meant that the whole day has been dragged out and I couldn't make the original booking time for my ferry to make it to the property. The ferry company has re-booked me for the last ferry for the day, which I called Mark hours in advance about. We have discussed everything over the phone and Mark has checked me in and said he'll leave the room key available for when I make my way to the property. Whilst I was getting off the ferry, I have received a phonecall from Mark accusing me of lying about my travel and that I'm not even on the island. It was absolute absurd, Mark carried on saying that I cannot come to the property anymore as it's too late and I have lied to him about being on the ferry because they know all the ferry times and it was impossible for me to be on the ferry at the time. Ended up having to check in to Travelodge, as was left stranded in an unfamiliar location, late at night with nowhere to go AND Mark has denied my request for the refund, due to Booking's policy that allows the host to do that. Would never recommend such a host to anyone, Mark has caused so much stress and expenses for me, what an incompetent person to deal with a situation.
