Thompsons have installed a complete new central heating system for us, including retrofitted underfloor heating downstairs and new radiators upstairs, plus 2 bathrooms refitted and a new downstairs loo. They have had to contend with a new electric boiler which didnt work effectively, and yet another replacement, which did. They have been unfailing helpful and professional throughout the process which has taken almost a year in conjunction with extensive renovations. Paul the contacts manager has made every effort to accommodate timings and revisions and the work completed by Ash has been excellent. I couldnt recommend Thompsons more highly and wouldnt hesitate to use them again. Services: Shower installation, Toilet installation, Water heater installation

Thompson installed the boiler and central heating in our new build home. They did further annual servicing for 3 years. We subsequently found that our hot water had been heated by the immersion heater not the gas boiler throughout those years. A very expensive mistake and not spotted by Thompson in their annual service visits. They then charged a lot of money to fit a new motorised valve to get the water heating to operate despite the fact that a new system had never actually been tested and set up properly so did the valve ever work? Why did the immersion have no indicator or proper switching? Thompson have been very reluctant to take any responsibility for this fiasco and the management there, not the service engineers, have been unpleasant to deal with. We won't be using Thompson again and cannot recommend them. Service: Water heater installation
