        A really lovely campsite. So peaceful. Friendly community. Ducks, Chickens, Guinea Fowl all wandering freely. Beautiful view of the Abbey. Hot showers and laundry facilities. Within 5 mins drive of shopping centre.

Although we didn't have a reservation and arrived after the official arrival time, we got a great place including a view of the ruins of the Abbey. Price-performance is top, absolutely recommendable (Original) Perfekter Platz, sehr freundlicher Empfang.Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, und nach der offiziellen Anreisezeit eintrafen, bekamen wir einen tollen Platz incl. Blick auf die Ruine der Abbey . Preis Leistung ist Top, absolut zu empfehlen

        this place is just superb, so well thought out and so much care put into it; i love the toilet/shower block, clean but not smelling of chemicals, and there are warm showers and plenty of loos, i never had to wait to use them; in an incredible location, with great facilities and everything you need on your doorstep; highly recommend the park and ride to get into durham; we will likely be returning in our campervan or tent sometime soon!
