The Bell Inn

What a lovely pub this is. From initial walk in to leaving the service from the staff was exceptional, they were all so very friendly and pleasant. They answered any questions regarding the menu without hesitation and were very helpful. Now the food, although Google has this place as a 3 star rating, I personally would rate this place as a 4 star. I have been living in Gloucester now for seven months, in that seven months this is the first and only establishment that I have ever really enjoyed and ever wanted to give a rating for. The presentation of the food was out of this world, I was taken back by this. As soon as I saw my food plated when it arrived I was in complete awe. I would completely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a quite and country style pub to relax and have a meal in. Walkability: There is a car park located next to the pub. You get to enjoy lovely views on the short one minute walk.

Lovely pub on the green, but for some reason, they don't let dogs inside anymore (the bar has a stone floor, so god knows why), kids are dirtier anyway. Service for drinks was great, but there was only one chap doing food orders for an ever growing queue despite trying his best. A short walk from the Severn Way and the Gloucester-Sharpness canal. Would certainly return.
