Booked my wedding in 2021 for this May 2023. In January 2022 my father suddenly passed away which meant I wanted to put our wedding back a year or 2 with having a lot of stuff to sort out. I emailed and spoke to the directors and they were EXTREMLY unhelpful. I was told that if i wanted to change the date i would lose my deposit and have to re pay it. I never once asked me a penny back i just wanted to change my date (I gave over 12 months notice) which was only possible if i paid another 5000+ losing my original deposit. Still to this day i am receiving emails regarding my wedding day this year which i did cancel (as you can imagine this is very upsetting) I know a few people who have had to change the date of their wedding at other venues and have no problem doing that all. Very disappointed.
