I only lasted two weeks working here. Theyre a very badly run company. They didnt give me time to settle In to the position of a HGV class 2 driver. They were sending me to collections at businesses that were closed or unaware of any collections. You dont get paid overtime for it either. I know theyre improving the site with new building but, they have awful equipment for the drivers to use mainly the pallet truck and theyd never charge my phone/pod to do the deliveries. I was forced to come back because of a fault in one pallet truck and was forced to take another faulty one out (the rubber on the wheel had came off) this was a senior authority who I forget the name of but he was a bald Yorkshire bloke. The only good thing I saw about this company was Gez. He was a top bloke but unfortunately he didnt run the branch, which would of been brilliant as he has so much knowledge about being a HGV driver. I had to write this review because you cant do so on indeed. Stay well away from choosing to work here as theyre ran really badly and will not give the time to settle in to the role, learning your route for the area where your drops will be. As for collections they sent me every day to places that were unaware of this, which is mind blowing really. Really bad office staff. I didnt get a chance to meet all the drivers so I cant comment on them. Im sure if I was given the time to find my feet and settle in, it could of been a different story. Unfortunately it wasnt and it wont be for anyone else that comes in.
