Dear all I Have just had a CT scan of my abdomen at Ashford Hospital Surrey they were polite helpful and assisted me at every point in the procedure and helped me back to the waiting area afterwards. This contrasts strongly with my MRI Scan at St Peters Hospital Surrey Conducted by Alliance Medical. I suffer from congenital Scoliosis making it difficult for me to lie flat on my back during 15 to 20 min procedure in the tunnel so cushions were provided. On finishing the procedure, the cousins were removed and I swung my legs round and down on to the floor, at that point the technician and the nears disappeared and left me to my own devices to get back to my cubical to get dressed, by this time I was feeling sick and dizzy. A technician noticed that I hadn't got dressed because I hadn't been given the key to the locker, on his return he asked if I was alright and offered me a drink which he asked the receptionist to make which she declined to do so, he made it for me. I was told that I could go whenever I wonted and if I had a problem to speak to his colleague the receptionist. The Technicians, clerical and nursing staff don't have enough time for the patients that we require. Kind Regards Patrick Lowe

Rude, unhelpfull, incompetent and do not care about the patients wellbeing. Refuse to allow re-booking for no reason other than they can't be bothered. Then they loose your results, so you need another scan that they can charge the NHS for.
