Seymours Landscapes

We recently used Seymours for a large-scale garden project in Oxshott. From the outset the team were friendly, porfessional and a pleasure to deal with. The office team were very responsive to our questions and the on-site team went out of their way to be helpful and showed great flexiblity throughout the project as several changes became necessary. They did an excellent job, completing our work on time and to buget and kept us fully informed throughout the process. The garden looks lovely and we are very pleased. I have already recommended Seymours to others and would have no hesitation in doing so again. I would NOT recommend Seymours. Since being taken over by AS Landscapes, standards have clearly not been maintained. After being recommended Seymours by a family member, we decided to start our garden design and build with them. Unfortunately things didnt go as expected. They failed to provide a decent garden design within our beget. The budget was discussed back and forth for 5 months (mainly due to having to wait weeks for responses) until we were unwilling to meet the excessive costs they were trying to charge. Seymours rely on the fact they contract you in to a design, which is done by an external party. They charge high prices because you have started the design process with them and it makes the process easier doing a design and build together. Unfortunately, the design was pretty average and we ended up with something which we wont be using, yet have to pay for. We found a more reasonably priced Landscaper to take over the design and priced it much more reasonably within our budget and we could notice the difference in professionalism strait away. Our experience with Seymours ended with some rude and abrupt emails and we are so glad we didnt end up going to build with them. AVOID SEYMOURS!
