I had an event and bought short ribs and other items from the prepackaged counter, upon opening the package the stench was putrid, lost trust in the meat and was unable to source a replacement so late in the day. I had to drive all the way back to Lyne Farm Shop on a bank holiday to complain and was only offered a refund, only to be told that "this is gas flushing out of the packaging". So Martin expects that when opening his prepackaged meat you should disregard the smell of rotten, decomposing flesh and eat it up. i have lost confidence in Martin's and will never buy anything again from the butcher at Lyne Farm Shop. And their response is that a simple refund "sorts things out". No concept of customer service and protecting your reputation. Every single reader of this review is one less customer of Martin's, and the Lyne Farm Shop suffers as well.
