We were in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch and came across 19 at Foxhills Country club. The walk to the restaurant and the scenery is beautiful. The food was very delicious and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Food & drinks: The salmon was delicious and the caviar sauce added the perfect balance of flavours.

We ate at the restaurant as guests of members. The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was incredibly slow. We had to ask for bread as we were starving and had to wait about 40 minutes for the food. By the time it arrived we were ravenous and the portions were pretty small. The restaurant was not very busy but I think they were understaffed. It was a Monday so maybe they weren't expecting anyone.

Spent our annual golf trip here - our first since lockdown ended as couldn't get anything for 2022 so was really looking forward to it. Took some time to check in as we were a party of eight. The man on the door was lonely and always had a smile on his face. Large room which reminded me of an old people's home! The furniture was so dated, along with the carpet and bathroom tiles. TV didn't work either. Lots of tennis courts which were in good condition. Guys said the golf courses were good and well kept. We had treatments in the spa which were quite expensive, but they always are in hotels. The staff were lovely and helpful. One night we had dinner in the hotel and I have to say it was absolutely delicious! Compliments to the chef as everyone was happy with their meal. Wine was reasonably priced and a fair amount of choice. Food at the bar was also very good but 42 for an average bottle of prosecco was a bit much we thought... The bar was a bit disappointing as our drinks order took nearly 15 minutes to come and some of it was wrong! Breakfast was quite chaotic and the area to get food was cramped. After paying a lot of money to stay here you would think that a latte or cappuccino would be included instead of being an extra charge! Not very flexible with egg dish choices either as my friend was told that they didn't do omelettes although after some insistence, an omelette was finally prepared and it was a good one. There was a trail around the golf course which made for a pleasant walk but it wasn't well sign posted. A fair stay all round but would not return.
