        Very impressed with Fish'n'chips, dearest enjoyed her prawns in butter, lots of attention to detail, don't even need salt and vinegar on my chips. Highly recommended, lived then gents sign too :-)

        The food was great, I had a chocolate mint dessert, that was particularly nice Had a quick chat with the very nice landlord, who took over recently, who gave us some of the local history

        Great food at this pub. Very convivial company. Log fire in the back room. Hosts incredibly accommodating. No wonder Sunday lunch is booked up by Wednesday!

        I absolutely love the GG. Always friendly and welcoming, well kept beer and a great selection of wines and gins. Brilliant food and the loveliest atmosphere. They also have rooms so I'm looking forward to staying some time so I can really give the wine list a good workout.
