We had originally purchased shutters from Thomas Sanderson but after a year back and forth with substandard products and awful customer service, we cancelled and had a full refund. Allister and Plantation Shutters were the complete opposite. Great products and excellent service and installation from Allister. They are without question the best in the business.

We were so impressed with the shutters that our son had fitted in his home in Twickenham we decided to contact Plantation Shutters about fitting shutters to our new build home in Hampshire. Our initial contact was via email with Emma at the head office in London and she was extremely helpful. We were contacted by Allister and managed to arrange for him to visit our home which was in the final stages of the build process, after he had measured up he contacted us via WhatsApp video as we were living in Shropshire, he talked us through all our options and gave us advice on what would best suit our windows and patio doors. Emma sent us a quotation with descriptions of the various options and it was such a relief not to go through the usual bartering that we had experienced with Sandersons to arrive at a sensible price. We were given a 12 week fitting schedule, but our shutters were fitted within 10 weeks which was a nice surprise considering the supply issues. Allister made an excellent job of fitting our shutters and managed to fit them all in a day, with a little help from his colleague. They were very respectful of our home and fun to have around. We highly recommend this company and having had Sandersons in our last home would confirm what others have said about Plantation being a superior company. A huge thank you to Allister and Plantation Shutters.
