The location, next to a historic castle mound and a river and nearby a church with many significant royal connections, at the edge of a beautiful stone-built village would be hard to beat. With extensive lawns sweeping down to the river's edge beside an ancient stone bridge, this converted Victorian farmhouse is set in a tranquil environment. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and attractively presented. Breakfast is of a matching quality, and the warm welcome of the attentive hosts made for a delightful stay.

Lovely quiet old farm house in an old well kept village. My room was lovely, spacious and clean. Stephanie was a great host and cooks a really lovely breakfast. I would definitely recommend Castle Farm Guest House to anybody looking for a more personal hotel experience, you wont be disappointed.
