        Tompot Cottage is in a perfect location for a family get away. The cottage is perfectly formed, cozy living room with a lovely gas fire, spanking brand new kitchen with a dishwasher, three good sized bedrooms, two doubles and a triple (with incredible comfy and new mattresses), as well as decent sized and newly fitted bathroom. The welcome was great, everything we needed to find our way around as we tucked into a lovely bottle of generously provided red! The cottage heating, hot water etc is very self explanatory but there were notes which we could have used if we needed to. Outside the cottage theres a great family and dog friendly pub opposite (the cove), as well as lots of lovely long walks around Portland. Theres loads to do in the area; Weymouth, Corfe castle, Swanage, Bovington Tank museum, to name but a few. If youre looking for a decent family dog friendly comfortable cottage in a good location to Portland and Dorset, then this is the spot for you.
