Crabbers' Wharf, Holiday apartments

Stunning and unique place to stay right on the edge of the harbour boasting fine views of Portland and Weymouth coastline. Professional service all round from clear instructions to find and get into the property including parking and inside it was a clean modern style apartment, with plenty of practical appliances, towels etc. What was missing was a local guide such as a factsheet of where to buy groceries or information about local sights, places to go (for all ages), restaurants, walks, adventure and water sports, nightlife or other things to do etc.

We loved our three night stay here in the Bosun's Cabin number 3. Extremely clean which is the most important thing. Feels a little like you are in a cabin on a docked cruise ship when sitting on the balcony, and there is lots to admire with the view - splendid. We became aware of a strange odour when we arrived but be assured you become immune to it and there are air fresheners provided. We never worked out what it was but it might come from the shipyard next door. Extremely clean and comfortable bed and excellent ensuite with shower. Well equipped kitchen although the inside fridge door milk holder had broken off and was missing. Be aware the bedroom is next to the first floor walkway. It didn't bother us but I'm sure children regularly stay here and the ones there on our first night spent a lot of time running up and down which is noisy and audible from the lounge. Overall a great place to stay.
