Mill Lane Barbers

Im not exactly sure why but the quality has dropped over time yet the price has increased. The last two times ive been there ive gotten the most horrible razor burn on my neck (with a cut also). Not sure why these guys dont know that you need to wet the skin or somehow moisten it before running a razor over it! Insult to injury, not its 21 for a dry cut. A price I am more than willing to pay as the haircut is usually top notch, but the last couple of times, the two different barbers giving me a natural at the back left my neck bleeding and sore. Please sort this out. Update to respond to the owner: Im sure it wasnt meant in that way, but your response comes off slightly condescending. As a 40 year old Ive had many haircuts, more or less the same style, especially over the last decade. I doubt my skin is the factor at play when it comes to razor burnsplus there is not much further to communicate on. The owner is clearly quite argumentative as can be seen by all their replies. The solution is quite frankly, obvious. One could say they could even google how to avoid giving clients a razor burn. Recent update : visited again a couple of days ago to give them another go. Same problem even though I asked the barber to be especially careful. Same outcome. Sadly will not be visiting again.
