        We had afternoon tea but disappointed at the portion size considering the cost of over 27 pp. The menu stated smoked salmon but we were not served these and when we asked was told they were not part of the afternoon tea. However when we challenged this a portion was then brought to our table. The scone was served alongside everything else so wasn't warmed. View over the golf course was lovely. I did email the hotel but not had any response.

        Didn't stay, just had breakfast. Seemed to be some confusion at reception as to whether a non-resident could have breakfast at "The View" restaurant (although it says you can on the website) and we got steered towards "The Lodge Cafe", however, breakfast rolls were on offer and the staff were excellent.
