I was a cabling technician working in fibre optic field when I was sold the CDCTP course. It was sold to me by the lad called Martin. Four years later I still can not find a role in this position and was miss sold the course whiteout correct profiling. Do not think that this will open Job opportunities as it will not. Courses are not accepted and valued but experience and college ,school you attended.. I complained to CNET about miss profiling me when selling the course. They tried mending it by getting me interviews but I couldnt even pass the first round as I was not certified electrician and cant work with live power and close to it. So you can not work in power or cooling or electrical side of rack install if you are not an electrician. You can not lock out a cabinet if you are not electrician!!! Do not be naive like me ,be careful and investigate before hand what you can and cant do depending on your previous education and experience as that is what is important not a one week expensive course. I still work as fiber optic tech as four years ago before the course . I love my job and still miss my thrown away money. Hope this review will help someone save some hard earned cash.
