Stayed in lodge 12A at first it looked great but the large bedroom with the bathtubs underfloor heating didnt work, the shower had one temperature which was scolding hot and the bathtub had no shelves which made bathing awkward. No mattress protectors either. Not enough toilet rolls for two people for 7 nights so we had to go and buy more, the shower in the second double bedroom was very small. The kitchen was ok but feel instructions would have been helpful for the microwave oven. They had a games cabinet in that lodge sadly all were missing pieces. The internet wasnt great and 3G came and went even with the internet they had in the lodge we could never connect to it.The dogs liked the large decking area but the hot tub was dirty and even though they came to check the water once every morning I saw them clean it once the whole week. There were dead flies and white mould in the hot tub (calcium build up) which stuck to my bikini. The lighting outside the lodge on the balcony was also not great and i probably wouldnt have felt comfortable staying as a female on my own due to that it put me off going outside when it was dark. On site theres nothing but lodges no reception area either just a mobile number and lodge number to find Mar in. She was lovely, very approachable and friendly. I do think a little newsagent/ bakery/ cafe could be built onsite and a kids playground or dog agility field which would keep people occupied for a little longer and give you something to do. They had a lake on site which we never found but Mar said its unkept which is a shame as they could easily tidy it up and add fish etc to it to attract more people. The lodge and park wasnt awful but needs work and attention so for that reason we wont be back sadly. 7 nights was far too long to be there. One positive was it was extremely quiet even with the busy road behind.

We had an amazing 4 nights stay, travelling short distance down from north Norfolk for an Autumn break. We were closer to my parents to come and visit us from Essex, which was lovely and spent a warm sunny afternoon in October sat outside our lodge having lunch. The hot tub was superb and we used this every day and evening! The highlight of our week however was meeting and being greeted by Mar (Marie), the site manager. She is the most welcoming and friendliest human you'll ever come across and the reason we will be back to this site again, with our beagle, Charley. We wish to say a huge thank you to Mar for making us feel at home, we felt like we had known her for years, albeit just a few days, and we're so glad we have met her and look forward to seeing her again.
