Unfortunately, the interior is currently closed as there's falling plaster, and the church needs a restoration. Fundraising is taking place and it's a beautiful church with its round tower from somewhere around 1000AD. There's the faint remains of a window which was removed when the Priest's Door was added in the thirteenth century, and Roman brick has been reused in the tower.

This beautiful Church is nestled in the heart of the village and is well worth a visit. It is currently open from 10 am until dusk every day. It has so many lovely features including unusual carved pew ends and some gorgeous examples of Victorian coloured glass windows. The Church has been there for me for many occasions over the years and it never fails to inspire, amaze, uplift and comfort me and gives me the chance to take some time out and reflect when things get busy. There is a wonderful clear glass window above the altar which to me really brings home the message that the Church is an important part of the village as you can see the changing seasons through this, including blue skies in summer and the crisp darkness of a winter's night. I would recommend a visit and checking out the website and Facebook pages for much more information and news about this lovely space.
