        A long established members only social club that benefited from a substantial refurbishment in 2016. The club re-opened again for business in August 2016 under the new name of "Formby Club". It has a large member base of over 500 and offers, snooker, darts and evening entertainment variety acts to its members. The lounge bar area and large balcony, which overlooks Wetherspoons Pub (The Lighthouse), is modern, well equipped and clean. The staff are friendly, professional and courteous. Highly recommended.
