So so disappointing and sad when you having hot flushes and feel dizzy nearly faint at 25 weeks pregnancy, then try to get to gp and tell that have appointment today but felt really bad 10minutes ago and receptionist do NOT care about you as a person or a woman to woman and says we don't have walk in appointments and can't even stand up JUST GO and ask what's best to do. Just literally says you gonna have to wait for a call of midwife and let's you walk out.

I understand it's probably not their fault but the reception in the village surgery really do not want to help. Feels like they are working against you instead of with you and you really have to fight with them just to get the service you need.

I have been trying to book an appointment for over a week. I work full time and trying to call in my breaks and after work to book an appointment is just not possible when your in a queue of 10 people or more. I havent got time during work or after work to wait in a queue that long. I dont know how anyone has. It shouldnt be this hard to book an appointment. Dont know what the answer is, I know funding is tight but something needs to be done.

I have met Dr Fletcher twice over the last 12 months with my sick children and she is brilliant. Not only is she a warm person, but I have noticed about her is that she listens very closely to what the patient and the carer are saying before making a decision. She has it all- clinical knowledge, but strong (human intereaction) interpersonal skills too.
