Doctor Johal and the team at Lyndhurst surgery have been our family doctor surgery since 1980, Every appointment that I have had with Dr Johal has been life changing, he goes through every detail to ensure your health is on the mend. You dont get many doctors who spend their time out of their day to ensure every problem has been covered. I would like to thank Dr Johal for your dedication and determination and for the constant support you have offered me and my family.

Very disappointed! Its Very difficult to get an appointment even when you are under lots of pains. The receptionist are very rude and they are taking over you while on the phone with them , they dont care about you as a patient and the timing waiting to answer the call is sometimes more then 30 min! The surgery is miles away from patients expectations! I wouldnt recommend to no one this surgery!

I wouldnt even give it one star if it was possible. I dont know how this surgery is still running it is by far the worst doctor surgery I have ever dealt with. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment. You are just repeatedly told to call back between specific times they do not realise some people are suffering and it is not always possible to call in one hour in the morning to book when you do call you are left waiting over an hour waiting for them to answer to be told sorry try again tomorrow. Majority of the reviews I have read I have very high doubts of the authenticity as I have read one of the reviews where someone stated they have been going to Dr Johal since the 1980s, which is not possible as he was not working at the surgery since then. I cannot fault the doctors or nurses however it is the management and practice manager to blame for the horrendous management. uneducated and extremely rude receptionist who think they are there managers without basic skills set are to blame aswell. Once I called to book an appointment, I was told to hold I was left on hold for more than 50 minutes in this time, I walked to the surgery while still on hold and witnessed the receptionist gossiping with her colleague while doing her nail polish. When I approached her and made her aware of the situation was told to leave the premises until someone is free to answer the call.
