In my front garden, I had an oak tree, protected by a TPO, that developed a large gash down its entire length. To my untrained eye, it did not look well. On the recommendation of a friend, I called Holly Tree and Alan, the boss, came out to inspect it. He explained that the tree had, at some point, been struck by lightning. He said that it was dangerous, and he would liaise with Crawley Council regarding the TPO. A couple of days later, I was given a five-day notice to have the tree removed. I asked Alan if he could help, and the next day his team arrived. Within a few hours, they had removed the tree and chipped the roots flat. The team were professional, efficient and used excellent equipment. The service they provided was outstanding, firstly for the way Alan took on all the negotiation with the council and then for the execution of the task. The price that they charged was very reasonable, and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Outstanding. I have used Holly Trees twice now and both times the guys worked well all day, did great job and were superb in clearing away after all the cutting had been completed. Alan always responds to enquiries quickly and listens. Very reliable and would recommend them to anyone.

Do not use . Abysmal . Cut my trees without lawful consent and those works done are simply dreadful , unprofessional from any professional horticultural or Arboricultural perspective . Trespass & horizontal cutting of trees - pure vandalism , no skills whatsoever and treated me as if I had zero legal rights to my own property : disgraceful damages to my trees and boundary .

They did an excellent job reducing the size of the overgrown trees in my garden and they were friendly, on time, delivered exactly what was promised and tidied up beatifully afterwards. I thoroughly recommend Holly Tree Surgeons Ltd!
