Nearby activities: You can spend a fortnight holidaying here and, between local walks, local towns, villages, beautiful beaches and attractions you still won't exhaust everything. You will want to come back. Dog-friendliness: We don't have a dog anymore but they are very welcoming to dogs and pragmatic when something doesn't quite go right. For example, they fully understand that, if your dog rolls in animal poo, then you need to wash it!

This is a lovely site, a pub right on the doorstep. Pitches are hardstanding and grass with electric hook up. Great shower block ample toilets and sinks. I imagine it gets very busy in the summer, as it was fairly well booked when we stayed in march. They have a well stocked shop with wine and beer and all you're other camping essentials. You have to pay for the WiFi as phone signals are scarce here. I think it was 2.50 , 33 a pitch , you think they would give you a code , but business is business . Great bike rides around the forest or walk for miles. We had a nice weekend.

Red Shoots is one of the best sites we have ever stayed on. We visited in March 2023. The facilities are kept exceptionally clean, mint in fact, and the site is run in an efficient and friendly way. There are great walks straight off the site. There is also a great pub at the gateway to it. Quiet, efficient, and friendly. We will no doubt return.
