Just had a lovely stay at this site. owners were lovely. site is excellent for the new forest and surrounding area. We will be back.

From reading previous reviews, we must have met the owner on a bad day! Last Friday our companions never arrived till 6.05pm but as we were going to meet them at the gate the owner asked us to site them on a hard stand instead of next to us "as the grass is getting wet". When my husband asked what he was concerned about, the owner replied "that's my lawn!" Consequently we felt we had to walk in the rain over the weekend rather than drive our car over the lawn. I cannot understand why a site remains open all year if the owner is worried about vehicles driving over his wet grass.

Fantastic site. Well maintained very peaceful and within walking/ cycling distance of many lovely villages. The owners are great people very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this site to others.
