I love this shop, its one of my favourites in Forest hill, they sell all cute stuff for crafting and also some nice gifting options and cards

Stag and Bow is a pocket of crafting joy in Forest Hill. I have been buying my sewing supplies and gifts from them for years. It is a little community, where the kind and experienced staff take the time to answer any questions, source unique and beautiful material. The team have incredible skills in embroidery, sewing, quilting, sashiko, crochet, knitting and more I am sure. Pia helped me to learn the quilting skills I needed to complete my first "proper" patchwork quilt. Tom has inspired me with his Sashiko, and Sarah has helped me develop my skills including colour and patterns in designs. The sewing machine workshop with Pascale helped me get more confident with my sewing machine with the added bonus of learning about other people's sewing machines. This meant I could use a different machine at a friend's house a few weeks later after seeing how to use it at the workshop. A beautiful shop, fantastic staff and treat yourself afterwards to one of Forest Hills local cafes to feel truly in the creative zone.
