I ordered some french doors, which had to be chased and were eventually delivered over a month late. Despite the owner coming out to measure up, they were too short and too wide which cost me more money as i had to pay the builder and carpenter additional money to fit them. Poor quality of service, i wouldn't use them again.

I have nothing but praise for Dibben Joinery. First, years ago they gave me a load of planed timber to make a picnic table including two that had moulding and never even charged me. Next they made me 2 doors for my bespoke under sink vanity unit of very high quality with a series of clover leaf holes by way of decoration. Thirdly they made a very good softwood Georgian type window for a friend of mine with a mahogany cill for the very reasonable price of 400, then a smaller similar window for 200. Lastly they have just made me a stable door for a coal bunker as requested out of Douglas fir, with sluice and a slot with flap to allow swallows to nest within, very substantial, solid and high quality. A small family firm like this is an absolute gem and is very hard to find in an increasingly mechanised world where you are forced to "take it or leave it" and accept lower quality and much higher prices. Yes you have to wait a while to get your work done but that is what happens when a little firm like this is very much in demand. The result is worth waiting for. I write this review because it is very much deserved and also to do what I can to offset the negative one star review that has been left here.
