It pains me to write this really, but I cant seem to communicate via email with the garage. I always want to give independent garages glowing reviews as theyre usually so much better than big outfits. Anyway, the story goes that I agreed to buy and have an exhaust fitted here to my car. Im thorough, everything checked out and we had good conversations about the work on the phone. I read garage reviews here and see theyve worked on some nice cars. I booked in a week or so before, then called the day before the appointment to confirm the work. All good, it was confirmed and I said Id be down around 9am the next dayall agreed, my journey was 100miles each way. Come the day of the work, I arrived at 8:30am. No one was there, no drama as I was early. So I grabbed a coffee and I came back 30mins laterstill no one there. So, I called but there was no answer and knocked on the shutters but it was all locked up. I sat in my car, repeated a few calls until 11am, then gave up, knowing I had 100miles back home, had wasted 2.5hrs sitting about and I couldnt be hanging around all day on the chance someone might bother to come in. So yeah, really disappointed. I cant comment on the workmanship because I wasnt lucky enough to test it. I understand personal emergencies come up, but at least a text message would have been nice so I knew either not to come or to maybe find something to do for a few hours. As it is, no idea what went on. I spent 80 on fuel (V8) plus the Dart Charge and have nothing to show for it. Id be willing to try them again but not without goodwill for my wasted fuel bill. By all means reply to this, Id rather work with you to find a solution than leave this negative feedback sitting here. I should be burning about the streets right now with a huge smile on my face, listening to an exhaust note, rather than leaving this. Cheers. Service: Exhaust
